On 12th – 13th April, the 10th annual seminar of VID FIREKILL was held in Svendborg, Denmark. The seminar was devoted to the benefits of using water mist in the firefighting industry.
This year’s seminar, which has become a traditional event, was the largest to date with over 100 participants from 22 countries around the world.
TechInfo, as a partner of VID FIREKILL for Bulgaria, was invited to take part in the seminar.
At the beginning of the seminar program, the attendees were welcomed by the CEO of VID FIREKILL – Alex Palle. He presented the company’s activities and introduced the participants with an extremely interesting presentation to the nature, extinguishing mechanism and advantages of water mist.
The rich seminar program continued with many more presentations, professionally presented by the company’s employees in the pleasant surroundings of hotel „Svendborg“. The participants learned about the company’s solutions for the protection of public, residential and office buildings, historical sites, data centers, industrial sites, road tunnels and infrastructure facilities with low-pressure water mist. Interesting case studies were presented, and guidelines for using the water mist standard EN 14972, as well.
The seminar participants also had the opportunity to visit the company’s headquarters and the fire testing laboratory, where they experienced real fire tests and equipment workshops. Impressive were the results of tests conducted with APS, F102 and LAK-7 nozzles for protection of atriums, hangars and industrial equipment – unique solutions with exceptional extinguishing efficiency.
Social activities planned by the organizers were also part of the seminar program. During the two evenings, guests had the opportunity to participate in fun games and pleasant conversations, as well as to enjoy traditional food and drinks.
